Based in Auckland, NZ, Frisson Knits wants to create a unique, delicate, durable and versatile sweater, using a sustainable fibre and an ethical process. The brand only uses New Zealand Kid Mohair. Unlike other countries, New Zealand Angora goats are farmed in very small flocks, often by part-time lifestyle farmers. During the process, Frisson Knits has a low carbon footprint. Sweaters are, indeed, completely hand-knitted, without any sort of aid coming from machinery: just knitting needles, yarn, a needle and thread.
